V Festival

The V festival - the annually held two-for-one music festival that has been growing in popularity and reputation since it's launch in 1996. The brain-child of Jarvis Cocker, the V festival has a predominantely rock line up, but has also hosted some of the best (and worst) received pop acts of any other music festival. Despite a reputation for being a little less 'edgy' than Glastonbury or Reading, its popularity and big bookings show that it's captured a strong spot in the music festival market.
